Privacy
I collect very little. Here is exactly what, and why. Last updated 8 November 2026.
Who is responsible
I am Alex Waterson, a designer based in Liverpool, UK. I decide how your data is used on this site. You can reach me at
Contact form
If you use the form, I receive your name, email address and message. The form is run by Formspree, which passes it on to me. I use it only to reply to you, and keep it only as long as the conversation needs.
Analytics
If you accept analytics, I use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They record which pages you view, your device and browser, your approximate location, and how you move around the site, including clicks and scrolling. Nothing loads unless you accept, and you can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
Embedded films
Some case studies embed films from Vimeo or YouTube. When a film loads, that provider receives your IP address and may use its own cookies.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages securely.
Where data goes
Formspree, Google, Microsoft, Vimeo, YouTube and Cloudflare may process data outside the UK, under their own safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing me. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
